With only three days left until I make the big move from my cozy little home town to Decatur and Millikin University and, ultimately, the rest of my life... Needless to say, nerves are beginning to take over... Do I have everything I need? How will I adapt to dorm life? Will I ever get over my toilet phobia?
Well, that's what this blog is for. For all of you, my family and friends, to find out the answers to these (and many more questions!) at the same time that I do! I'll be updating this on a (hopefully) regular basis to keep you guys clued in... If you feel it's been too long since I last updated, feel free to drop me an e-mail to keep you guys in the loop! Also, feel free to send me tins of Garret's popcorn... Which I just learned recently can be bought online! Which basically means that if you can read this blog, you can also buy me popcorn as an incentive to keep up with this blog.
... Joking of course... But seriously, I do enjoy popcorn.

As for classes that I'm taking, I'll be taking Music Theory 113, Woodwind Methods, Lab Band, Ear Training I, Piano, Band, Trumpet Lessons, University Seminar, and Critical Reading, Writing, and Research... As for what those actually are, that's for another blog entry!
